Depending on the conference, the actual placement of the sessions on the scheduler can take place either earlier on in the workflow or after papers have come in. In either case, the process is the same.
Configure the Scheduler
Setting up the scheduler for ASME is pretty straight forward. Go to Sessions > Scheduler Configuration.
You want to ensure you are not placing two authors in two places at once. The following are typical ASME scheduler settings:
Finish the setup by tabbing over to Days, Rooms, and Time Slots and you’re ready to begin scheduling.
Schedule Your Sessions
Go to Sessions > Scheduler in the top navigation and you will find a screen like this:
Select the day you want to schedule, choose the session from the left side and place that session into the room and time slot on the right side. It will show in red if there is a conflict.
