Send Email Blasts

December 1, 2025

There are a number of good use cases for sending out blast emails during the short abstract round. For example, you might want to notify people who have incomplete abstracts that have incomplete submissions that the deadline is coming up.

Send an email blast to applicants.

More specifically to ASME, staff sends out two email blasts to applicants to notify individuals if their abstract has been accepted or rejected in the short abstract round.

Go to Tools > Email Wizard and select the Abstract Accepted Email.

Double check the conditions are set to:

– Average score is greater than 1 (this means it was accepted by the Track Organizer)

– Not Yet Marked as Accepted

ASME staff does this because they will then go in and mark the submission as accepted after the email is sent so they can send this email blast repeatedly, but not resend it to the same people who already received it.

Make sure your content for the email is up to date.

And send the email as desired.
